Rule #1- Take Advantage of Whitespace
This website uses White space efficiently to a point that it makes it look simple, yet it is still well put together. When the website shrinks only the important posts show up and the pictures effectively change sizes to make up for the size difference.
Rule #8- Remove excessive Images
This website uses the removal of excessive images in order to make the website seem less distracting in the Mobile view. It also rearranges the layout and makes good use of the space it has.
Rule #9- Crop the images Proportionally
This website on the other hand was literally just the coolest thing I've ever seen. It made me super happy just looking at it. It has transparent backgrounds for when you scrolled, also it was infinite scrolling, but that's beside the point. It crops the background image and the menu when you get down to mobile. That's what makes it proportional and it looks very very nice.
Rule #14- Consider the background Images
This website considers the background image very well. Basically they realize that they can't always have the same background move proportionally with the text. So therefore they considered that and made it resize with the size of the page.
Rule #17- Eliminating the Text
When the image goes down to the mobile view, they take away all the extra text things. Like the text explaining what each and every button does. You have less room and more time to do things through trial and error.
Rule #18- Switch up the Menu
The menu relocates from the top of the page to take center stage in the tablet and mobile views. In my opinion the one in tablet and mobile views makes more sense and makes the website flow much better. It confuses me because of the links, but otherwise it's more than okay.
